i love october, i love fall, i love everything about this weather except the allergies.

Today was a good day. I kept thinking about the beautiful Gardens of Versailles, and perhaps manage a little garden of my own. The Hubby and I bought a couple of indoor plants, and my parent's brought us mint in a pot, which I kept in our balcony. Our balcony doesn't get much sunlight because these huge cherry blossoms are right in front, but I'm not gonna lie i love the shade it provides, and the beautiful view.

Moving a long, I had a potluck at my place 2 weeks ago, and I really needed fresh flowers for the table, I found the PERFECT yellow beauties at Wal-mart for $2.50! and even after 2 weeks they are still alive!

Some of my walls are still bare, but I'm
painting them in the next coming weeks, I cant wait! Patterns for walls are totally back, so is wallpaper! Oh how I love me some Wallpaper!

I'm absolutely in love with yellow, so bare with me if it's getting too bright...

My day ended with a wonderful romantic dinner on the balcony with my husband
=)

-wheat spaghetti with spicy marinara, raspberry vinaigrette spinach salad, and off course garlic bread....oh and apple juice lol :)

First Post

After much deliberation I have finally decided to start this blog. I started a couple of times while still in Architecture school, but obviously for 5 years my life was non-existent, okay I'm exaggerating a tad bit, but needles to say I never kept up with it. I have finally decided to come back to it, there's too much going on in my life that I would like to capture.

I
have a crazy obsession now with finding decor for my apartment. I have always wanted to collect something and when I went to Riviera Maya on my Honeymoon, I started my Vase Collection with a piece by Dona Rosa. Her Black Pottery is absolutely breathtaking. Usually anything abstract or modular catches my eye, but I have to admit her work is just so simple, and elegant and AHH-MAY-ZING that my collection had to start with one of her pieces.

When I can afford an Aalto vase I'd like to have this one.

Until then I hope to keep finding pieces like this one I found at Ross I think its pretty darn spiffy. It reminds me of a project I worked on in a 5th year studio, Eco-Tectonics, I'll post it sometime.

I'll continue to blog about my crazy ideas, projects that I've worked on, projects that I admire/LOVE, projects that inspire me, anything else that inspires, good design, my daily adventures, my cooking skills, fashion, fashion & architecture, the arts, and basically whatever I feel like blogging about. I hope you enjoy my blog. Stay tuned for more!
