green&red red&green

The holidays are here! It's scarce that you will see one's door-front heavily decorated for the holidays, specifically in apartments, but my neighbor is an exception. Every holiday/season his door front displays something festive, and I absolutely adore it. I took Nimbus out to snap a few pictures, and he became extremely fascinated by the colorful reds and greens! p.s the tree even lights up at night!

new finds

Today was a good day. I finished writing a proposal, sent out my portfolio to a firm, went shopping, and found some interesting items, worked out, cooked dinner, and watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, oh and played with Nimbus until he got tired! anyways I found some neat vases, and a whole lot of Christmas items on sale. I haven't decided what exactly I will do with the shiny green leaves, but I'm sure I will find a way to use them. i think i will call it a night. ciao!

I will figure out what to do with the treasures I found today..

to top it all off, I made some creamy tomato soup, with veggies, Alfredo pasta, and chicken. It was perfect for a cold cold day. When I make soups I just add a whole lot of ingredients and pray it turns out well, so far this strategy has never failed. or maybe my husband's taste buds just love everything I cook. :)

i can't stop thinking, i even dreamed it.

So I cant stop thinking about a plan I will soon propose. I kept thinking about it in my sleep, not to mention my cat Nimbus wants all the attention when I sleep. So lets just say I tossed and turned a lot. He's my new baby. I wasn't sure how my husband would react to living with a cat, since the only pet he ever had was a rabbit, but he LOVES Nimbus, I mean how could you not, just look at the cute Persian Chinchilla.

Anyway, I am going out today to purchase some items, which I shall add to my inventory. I will scout some vintage shops and perhaps some antique stores and see what I find. In the mean time I will leave you with some pictures of a flower bouquet I made for a dear friend.
